Coming soon to a field near you, Kelsey Von Stubbe’s new Tentwood barn is the stuff of DIY dreams. The rustic-chic pop-up structure can be set up by the Tentwood crew in less than one day to create the perfect party venue in an open pasture, a gorgeous backyard or even in, say, a fruit orchard.
Taking inspiration from her background in theater (and all those years watching sets being built and torn down), Von Stubbe constructed the charming barn using wooden wall panels that hook together into an aluminum frame with aged-steel roofing, producing a stable yet easily transportable structure. The 1,000-square-foot building can accommodate as many as 120 people standing. Tentwood also carries a wide array of lighting and decor to help gussy up the place. Packages start at $4,500 to rent, and includes delivery, setup and takedown.
