As the editorial director for Seattle magazine and Seattle Business magazine, Rob Smith enjoys getting paid to be nosy and talking with interesting people. “A good story comes from anywhere,” he says. “I’m always open to hearing pitches and brainstorming ideas.” When he’s not hunting for stories about the people, places and things that make the Seattle area a unique and compelling place, he spends time coaching his 11-year-old son’s baseball and basketball teams, shooting hoops, sipping Northwest microbrews and hanging out (on Zoom!) with friends.

Nat Rubio-Licht is the social media manager for Seattle magazine and Seattle Business magazine. Nat is from the San Francisco Bay Area and previously was a business reporting fellow for the Puget Sound Business Journal. They graduated from Syracuse University in May with a degree in newspaper and online journalism. When they aren't reading, writing and tweeting, they enjoy watching the Great British Baking Show with their partner and (badly) attempting gluten-free cooking.
