Seattle, Washington, USA - November 14, 2015: Dick's Hamburgers original restaurant opened in 1954 in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood, on N.E. 45th Street

Seattle chef and restaurant owner Edouardo Jordan will take over the Queen Anne location of Dick’s Drive-in for a weekend pop-up event in mid-October.

Jordan, owner of Junebaby and Salare, will take over the American-style drive-in from Oct. 16 to Oct. 18 as part of “The Classics Remix” series created by Resy, a tech software company that helps users make restaurant reservations, in partnership with American Express. Jordan is one of eight chefs in cities across the country to participate in these events.

Chefs involved in this series are tasked with creating takeout packages that combine the restaurant’s classic dishes with their own culinary style.

Jordan’s takeout package will include a pimento cheese deluxe burger, Dick’s Drive-In’s hand-cut fries served with Jordan’s Cajun dipping sauce, and a spiced sweet potato cookie shake.

Tickets for the Seattle event cost $17.50 a person and go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 24 for the general public. American Express Card Members get presale access, and can purchase tickets at 10 a.m. Sept. 22.
