Festival returns to Seattle for its third year

Got a hankering for Icelandic cod or lamb loin? Perhaps a mushroom-filled pâté choux with Feykir cheese foam is more your thing.
Either way, you can get your Iceland on at Seattle’s annual Taste of Iceland Festival. The festival, which tours in a handful of cities across North America, makes its third stop in Seattle from Oct. 3-5.
Seattle and Reykjavik — Iceland’s capital and largest city — are sister cities, and Reykjavik Mayor Einar Þorsteinsson will be in Seattle to celebrate the special connection during the festival. The festival features an array of public events celebrating the land of fire and ice across Seattle, including food and beverage, music, comedy, literature, design, nature, and wellness.
Featured events will be hosted at venues across Seattle, including Block 41, Life on Mars, National Nordic Museum, Palace Kitchen, Railspur Gallery, Shibuya HiFi, and The KEXP Gathering Space.
Most events are free, but tickets and registration are required. More information can be found at the Taste of Iceland website.
