Fourth of July Festivities Light Up Puget Sound

A guide to the big bang festivities around the region

As the nation gears up to celebrate Independence Day, Seattle’s skyline will come to life with the vibrant colors and patriotic spirit of iconic firework displays across the Puget Sound. 

Here’s a list of the numerous firework shows and festivities happening around King County, ensuring you’ll find the perfect spot to celebrate Independence Day:

 

Seafair 4th of July

The annual Seafair 4th of July celebration at Lake Union will include a fireworks display, and activities such as live music, vendors, and other family friendly activities that can be seen from Gasworks Park and Lake Union Park. The event begins at 3 p.m., with the fireworks show starting at 10:15 p.m. But plan ahead. Parking is difficult, and crowds begin to gather well before dusk.

 

Bellevue Family 4th

The iconic Bellevue Family 4th, located in Bellevue Downtown Park, will include live performances, food trucks, and a fireworks display starting at 10:05 p.m. followed by a post-fireworks performance by the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra. 

 

Arlington Hometown July 4th Celebration

The celebration kicks off with a Grand Parade at 5 p.m. on Olympic Avenue., followed by a fireworks display at Quake Park starting at 10 p.m. 

 

Everett’s Thunder on the Bay Fireworks Show

The bash begins at 3 p.m. with a family-friendly festival featuring live music, food trucks, and other activities. To wrap up the night, the iconic Thunder on the Bay fireworks show begins at 10 p.m. and can be seen from Legion Memorial Park, Grand Avenue Park, the Port of Everett, and Harborview Park. 

 

Red, White, & Blues Festival 

The annual Federal Way Red, White & Blues Festival, located in Celebration Park, features live music, food vendors, and other family-friendly activities starting at 4 p.m., followed by a fireworks display starting at 10:15 p.m. 

 

Fourth on the Plateau 2024

Located in the Sammamish Commons, this celebration features live music, lawn games, face painting, and balloon artists beginning at 5 p.m., followed by a fireworks show at 10:30 p.m. 

 

Snoqualmie’s Annual Fireworks Show

Snoqualmie’s Annual Fireworks Show, located in the Snoqualmie Community Park, features food trucks, inflatables, vendors, music, and field games beginning at 7 p.m. followed by a fireworks display beginning at 9:45 p.m. 

 

Tacoma Summer Blast

The Blast kicks off at noon along the Ruston Way Waterfront with live music, food, entertainment, and more than 150 vendors. The fireworks display, beginning at 10 p.m., can be seen from Dune Peninsula Park, along the waterfront, and Jack Hyde Park.
