Fall in Seattle is showing off, with fiery leaves and a chill in the air — and let’s not forget spider season! Those eight-legged visitors will be gone after the first frost, but until then, it’s a race to dodge webs.

This week, downtown’s new Overlook Walk is buzzing with crowds checking out the views, and if you’re into glass art, Refract is back. Pioneer Square’s got a new rare and fine bookshop, and ski resorts are getting prepped for winter adventures. Oh, and did you know Washington ranks second for UFO sightings? Keep your eyes peeled — you might just have your own X-Files moment.

Kehlani: Crash World Tour

Joyce J. Scott: Walk a Mile in My Dreams
