For the best dining with a view, head to Carillon Point’s Bin on the Lake (1270 Carillon Point; 425.803.5595; thewoodmark.com) or its sister spot, Beach Café (1270 Carillon Point; 425.889.0303; thewoodmark.com), for vistas of the Seattle skyline across Lake Washington. From June through August, parK lane—with outdoor dining spots and a Sausalito vibe—closes to vehicle traffic from 7 to 9 p.m. and opens for jazz performances on the second Thursday of the month. Wine lovers, grab your designated driver and head to Kirkland Uncorked (July 16–18; 206.633.0422; kirklanduncorked.com), where more than a dozen wineries will pour their greatest grapes. Held in marina Park—known for its boaty appeal—the event will feature restaurant-food sampling, more than 40 artists’ booths and live music. Don’t forget the Grill Off on Saturday ($20 advance, $25 at the gate, and $15 for your designated driver—be nice and pay your DD’s way in). In July and August, Marina Park hosts the Music in the Park series at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and 7 p.m. on Thursdays.
