Not only is our local cider great for sipping, but because it is complex, not overly sweet, and layered with fruit and other flavors, it makes great cocktails, too. Here are a couple to get you started.
What the Doctor Ordered
Ice cubes
2 ounces dark rum
1/2 ounce Sidetrack Distillery nocino walnut liqueur
3 ounces Seattle Cider Company semisweet apple cider
1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway full with ice cubes. Add the rum and nocino. Shake well.
2. Strain into a cocktail glass. Top with the cider. Stir carefully and briefly.
