Where to Trick-or-Treat in Seattle

RedTri.com: Maybe your ’hood doesn’t have great sidewalks for trick or treating, or maybe your neighbors are Boo-Humbug and don’t pass out good Halloween loot, or maybe you just want to do something new and go somewhere different around Seattle to show off your adorable costumed kids. Try these various Seattle venues and neighborhoods for treats, eats and other spooktakular Halloween events.

Ballard Trick or Treating
Treats for costumed kids from participating merchants with orange signs.
Where: Market Street between 20th & 24th.  Also down Ballard Ave to Lone Place.

Capitol Hill
Titanium Sporkestra band leads a costume parade!  Afterwards visit Monsters in the Park art exhibit at the Seattle Central Green Space, then treats for kids from Broadway Avenue’s participating merchants.

Columbia City Trick or Treating
This charming little town is a great area to stroll. Expect treats from participating businesses (they’ll have orange and black balloons outside). Stop by Geraldine’s Counter for a costume contest! And if you don’t get your fill of sweets, swing by the new Full Tilt ice cream parlor.

Crown Hill
Treats for kids and raffles for gift baskets from participating Carkeek Plaza Shopping Center merchants.

Fremont
Treats for kids from over 100 participating merchants in a great neighborhood plus! we hear Bubbleman will be in attendance at the Lenin Statue from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm!

Magnolia Trick-Or-Treat
Take your costumed kiddos for a walk through the neighborhood and enjoy snagging up some treats from participating merchants during daylight hours!

University Village
Take a stroll through U Village, where merchants will be passing out candy. Once the little monsters are all sugared out, head over to the covered kids play area between Kid’s Club and Hanna Andersson where they can burn off some Halloween energy.

Trick or Treat at The Junction, West Seattle
If you’re looking to do some daylight, non-scary trick or treating (or if you just want to get it out of the way!), hit The Junction, where select merchants will be passing out treats.

Woodland Park Zoo
Pumpkins for the animals, trick-or-treating and live entertainment. Hippos, bears, elephants, monkeys and others will smash pumpkins provided by their zookeepers.  Free event with zoo admission or membership.
