The king of steak is hosting a first-ever whiskey experience fit for royalty.

John Howie Steak’s first annual Rare and Well Done will feature more than 100 whiskies from distillers and brand ambassadors from around the world. The event will take place at The Bravern event space in Bellevue, next door to John Howie Steak, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 7.

Bourbon. Rye. Tennessee whiskey. From Laphroaig and Seattle’s own Westland to Forty Creek, Glenfiddich and Ezra Brooks, the peat is on.

We hear that John Howie Steak will also be pouring tastes from its own rare and highly allocated collection – many that are no longer available for purchase outside of the secondary market.

To pair with these golden beauties, John Howie Steak Executive Chef Mark Hipkiss has some delightful bites pairings planned, including smoked salmon bisque, wood-fired lamb chops, torchon d’foie gras (hello), American Waygu beef, Dungeness crab stuffed mushrooms and Makers Mark Bourbon shakes (yes, boozy shakes).

Tickets are $180, unless you’re feeling totally whiskey-wacky and purchase the $430 ticket, which gets you, among other things, quarter-ounce pours of five extremely rare (read: cha-ching) whiskies:

Glenfiddich 40 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky (2015, $5,000/bottle)

Balvenie 40 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky (2012, $3,500/bottle)

Macallan M 1824 Series Single Malt Scotch Whisky (2014, $3,200)

Glenmorangie Pride 1981 28-Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky (2010, $4,500)

Pappy Van Winkle 20 Year American Bourbon Whiskey (2014, $1,350)
